Stammer Studio is currently based in Ostend (Belgium), where it develops an on the one hand negating and on the other diagnostic practice with regard to images and text. In the past years Stammer Studio yielded strategies that are in many respects opposite to the strategies of publicity agencies and mainstream media. It derives its source material from communication breakdowns, paradoxes and short circuits in the visual world and in today's culture of language. Stammer Studio does not deal with a question of art; it is a product oriented enterprise for a post-information era. As an agent, Stammer Studio is engaged in the economy of the fetish and in the materialistic side of paganism.
